I do not believe the market has bottomed but I think the VIX has topped — at least for now.

VIX could move higher if another major shoe drops but that doesn't mean that the market has bottomed.

Typically the bottom of the market and the VIX top do not align.

I am looking for the S&P 500 to touch the 200 DMA before I am interested in buying. Either that or come back above the 50 DMA.
