NFP Week is TOUGH to trade so trade carefully

04-01-2025

Traders,

This will be a tough week to trade.

We NFP and FED Powell Speech on Friday.

That means the market is going to be very volatile.

NFP is arguably the most important economic event of the month but we compound NFP with the FED speech this Friday.

I think sizing down on positions this week could be wise.

Now let’s analyze the price action from yesterday and this morning.

The S&P 500 gapped down on Sunday.

Generally, the markets will consolidate after large moves.

On Friday, the ES or S&P 500 was down about 2.4%

That’s a significant move.

So next time the market makes large moves, expect a period of consolidation (marked above).

At the New York open, the market maker decided to sell the open initially only to buy it.

This is a classic manipulation move the market does when it wants to go the other way.

The market does this to sweep liquidity at a key level in the market at the right time.

You can see the market swept liquidity right at the NY open.

So keep an eye out for those types of moves in the future.

And this setup the rest of the bullish day yesterday.

Again, after large moves, we can expect the market to consolidate.

So what did the market do in the Asia and London session after a large bullish move during the day?

Chop chop!

You can clearly see the consolidation.

Now, the real question is what can we expect today and this week?

Typically, on NFP weeks, trading is very tricky.

On a macro level, the market likes to create liquidity up and down only to sweep those levels on NFP day.

So be very careful trading this week.

This is what we can expect.

There will be LOTS of choppiness and fast moves.

On top of this, we have Trump’s tariffs going on.

That’s another variable that could potentially affect the price action.

There will be a lot of uncertainty, but NEVER WORRY!

Voz is here to GUIDE you!

I have traded NFP week almost the last decade, and I know what to expect.

When I see a call and/or put zone forming, I will send out an alert to members inside the Game Plan

Now, let’s go over how yesterday’s Game Plan went.

This was the email alert we sent.

And how did we do?

You can clearly see that the end of our put zone is where the market decided to turn around and move up.

It was a nice single, but we are after consistent wins, not home runs.

I am here to minimize risk and protect capital.

That’s how professional traders trade.

And that’s how you can become a mechanical, emotionless trader.
