Everyone Says Don’t Trade “Emotionally.” I Think That’s Wrong.
- Olivia Voz
I don’t think traders get emotional.
I mean, are people really sitting there crying over their screens? Getting all worked up because a trade went against them?
That’s not what I see.
What I see is uncertainty. Traders get confused. They get locked up. They don’t know when to buy, when to sell, or why they’re making or losing money.
Emotion implies you’re reacting. But most traders aren’t reacting — they’re just fucking lost.
You’re not emotional, you’re lost
When a trader is sitting there watching their position move against them, they’re not having some emotional breakdown. They’re trying to figure out what the hell to do next.
Should I cut this? Should I hold? Is this normal movement or am I wrong about the trade?
That’s not emotion. That’s uncertainty. And uncertainty makes people freeze up.
This is exactly why I like systematic trading. When you have a game plan, you know when to buy. You know when to sell. You know why you’re making money and why you’re not.
When I do a Fuse trade, there’s no guessing.

The setup is there or it isn’t. The exit parameters are clear. If it works, great. If it doesn’t, I know exactly when to cut it.
There’s no emotion because there’s no uncertainty.
You can’t meditate your way out of bad trading
Traders beat themselves up for being “emotional.” But you’re not emotional. You’re just winging it. And the market doesn’t reward improvisation.
You can’t fix uncertainty with mindset work. You can’t meditate your way out of not knowing when to exit a trade.
You fix uncertainty with certainty. Clear rules. Defined setups. Specific exit criteria.
When you know exactly what you’re looking for and exactly what you’ll do in every scenario, there’s nothing to get emotional about. You’re just following your plan.
That’s what makes a premium service valuable – it gives you certainty in an uncertain market. You’re not guessing anymore. You’re executing.
So stop blaming your emotions. You’re not broken. You’re just guessing. Fix that, and the rest takes care of itself.
P.S. Speaking of having a system…
This March, I’m teaching mine live.
The 87% win rate Morning Game Plan. The Fuse setup that hits 45% average returns. The Bombshell trades that can generate $500-$1,500 in the final 10 minutes.
Two full days. West Palm Beach. While the market is open.
You’ll watch me find setups, place trades, and manage exits in real time. Then you’ll do it yourself.
No emotion. No uncertainty. Just a system that works.
