Yesterday I watched NVIDIA pop on big AI spending news.

Then I watched it give every point back.

That is the tell. Not Iran. Not the Fed. When your strongest companies get real, good news and the market hands it right back within hours, the underlying belief is gone.

The story is broken. And no headline is going to fix that.

This is what I do as a day trader.

I watch how the market reacts to news. Not what the news says. How traders respond to it. Because that reaction tells you everything about what the crowd actually believes.

Right now the crowd does not believe.

We saw it with Meta too. Big move up. Gone. When it happens once, you take note. When it happens in your two most powerful tech names inside the same week, you stop taking notes and start trading accordingly.

Here is what I think happened. Some of these leading tech companies used AI to throw glitter in our faces. Big projections. Big stories. Big promises about how transformational this was going to be. And glitter is very hard to clean up once you realize it is on you.

Now NVIDIA came out and told investors how big the AI market is going to be.

And here is the thing about telling the market what the ceiling is. Once you know the ceiling, you stop buying. You wait. You say show me something new.

The market is in show me mode. And nobody is showing it anything yet.

Iran is real. The conflict matters. But it is a catalyst helping the market do what it already wanted to do. The problem was here before Iran. You can see it in the channel. You can see it in the lower highs. You can see it every time good news gets swallowed whole and spat back out.

I am not calling a crash. I am calling a broken story. And until something real replaces it, this channel holds.

The rallies will come. Bearish conditions always produce fierce gap ups. Do not mistake them for a reversal.

Watch how your strongest stocks respond to good news. If they pop and give it back fast, the glitter is still on.

Rock On,
