Hey gamers,
So I’m sitting here this morning, still probably a little buzzed from the Panthers winning the Cup (yes I was out celebrating, don’t judge me), and I casually ask you guys if you’re feeling bullish or bearish today.
The responses? “Bearish.” “Bear.” “🐻”
Tough crowd! I’m like “oooo tough crowd” and then BOOM – the market decides to prove everyone wrong right in front of our eyes.
I’m literally just vibing in chat, watching SPY dance around this 598.75 level, when something clicks. You know that feeling when you see a setup and your brain goes “oh hell yes”?
I type: “Looking at a Call zone between 598.67 – 599.67”
spreir immediately goes “there it is” – like they KNEW this was about to happen.
hammy’s calling out the 50 EMA resistance at the exact same level I’m watching. MattMan’s dropping knowledge about VIX9D declining steadily. We’re all seeing the same thing but from different angles.
Then it breaks. Clean. Fast. No hesitation.
“weeee” I type, because honestly, when price action is this clean you just gotta appreciate it.
9:48 AM: I call the zone
9:54 AM: “id take profit at 599.57”
Six. Minutes.
Scott B walks away with $3,400. robynlm turns $1.73 into $3.00 on calls. Jake hits 102% gains. bensdjserv makes $75 on 4 contracts and thanks me in chat.
But here’s the thing – it wasn’t magic. It was just reading what the market was screaming at us.
Multiday VWAP sitting at 599.12 like a neon sign saying “price wants to test me.” The 50 EMA acting like a gatekeeper at 598.75. VIX9D dropping like it’s hot, telling us fear is walking out the door.
When that resistance broke, I wasn’t thinking “moonshot.” I was thinking “quick trip to VWAP and then GTFO because Jerome Powell speaks at 2pm and that man can ruin your whole day.”
Fed days are like dating someone who’s about to break up with you – take what you can get and don’t stick around for the drama.

You want to know how I “saw it coming”? I’ve been watching these patterns for years. VWAP acts like a magnet. Moving averages act like barriers until they don’t. Volume tells you if the move is real or fake.
But more than that – I was listening to YOU guys. hammy spotted the resistance. MattMan called the VIX behavior. spreir was ready for the break. We’re literally a hive mind when we’re all paying attention.
The best part? After it hit, jamesb goes “You mean I did it on my own??? Yeah me!”
THAT’S what I’m talking about. When you start seeing these setups yourself, when your brain clicks and goes “oh, I know what this is” – that’s when trading gets fun.
Tomorrow we’re closed for Juneteenth (hammy had never heard of it, which honestly made me laugh), so here’s what I want you to do:
Pull up this morning’s SPY chart. Find 9:48 AM. Look at that 598.75 level. See how price tested it, broke it, then ran straight to 599.12?
That’s the market’s language right there. Learn to speak it.
Because here’s the truth – the best traders aren’t the ones getting secret signals. They’re the ones who can read what the market is already telling everyone, but most people are too busy or distracted to listen.
We’re building something special here, gamers. A team that sees opportunities before they become obvious. That protects each other on dangerous days. That celebrates wins together.
Keep your eyes open, keep asking questions, and remember – sometimes the market just hands you a gift when you’re paying attention.
See you Friday (and maybe I’ll be less hungover),
Olivia
